Davy, Ireland’s largest provider of wealth management and investment banking services, has marked the milestone of reaching 100 Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professionals across the organisation, making it the first firm in Ireland to reach the milestone.

The milestone was celebrated at an event for Davy colleagues at Davy House on Friday, attended by Emer Kirk, CEO of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) Ireland, Diarmuid Bradley of the Institute of Bankers and FPSB Ireland Board member, and Derek Lawson of the Institute of Bankers.

The event also featured a fireside discussion with Terri Kallsen, Managing Partner and Head of Partnerships at Rise Growth Partners and 2026 Chair of the CFP Board’s Board of Directors in the United States, exploring the growth and evolution of financial planning and advice, including the impact of AI and other transformational trends on advisers and their clients.

Speaking at the event, Colm Power, Director of Financial Planning at Davy said:

“In what is our 100th year in business, we have reached the milestone of having 100 CFP professionals in the organisation. Davy is the first firm in Ireland to reach this milestone. That’s a testament to the support Davy has shown for the CFP qualification, but more importantly, it’s down to the hard graft of our people and their focus on developing a career in financial advice.”

The CFP qualification is strongly supported by Davy as part of the development of its financial planning, advisory and support teams.
