Giles Andrews appointed to Board of Davy

Davy is pleased to announce the appointment of Giles Andrews as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Davy Board.

Giles brings extensive experience in financial technology and lending, alongside strong management expertise. He holds a master’s degree in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University, and an MBA from INSEAD.

He has served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Bank of Ireland Group since November 2020, where he is Chair of the Transformation Oversight Committee and a member of the Remuneration, Risk and Sustainability Committees. Giles co-founded Zopa, the first online peer-to-peer lending marketplace, which launched a digital bank in 2020 and held senior roles at Zopa including Chief Executive Officer and Chairman.

He currently chairs the board of Carwow Limited and serves as a Senior Independent Director of C. Hoare & Co and as Chair of Octopus Electric Vehicles Limited. Giles was awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to financial services and was named FinTech Leader of the Year at the FinTech Innovation Awards in 2016.
