An important item in this week’s economic calendar is Ireland’s population and migration estimate for 2026. While subject to revision after next year’s Census, we see positive trends from public service numbers as likely to drive higher immigration and a population result of 5.54m, up 1.5% compared to 2025. We also expect an upward revision to Ireland’s household savings rate this week. Data releases for the US economy, euro area and flash inflation data for France and Spain are also in focus.
