Ahead of Christmas holidays beginning next week, a number of economic data publications that would normally be released then have instead been frontloaded into this week. As a result, the week ahead is set to be especially busy for top-tier economic data releases. Few surprises are expected from euro area and UK Central Bank meetings, though inflation and labour market data could impact the tone of the meetings for the policy stance in 2026. For Ireland, a new medium-term fiscal plan is also expected this week, along with updated macroeconomic forecasts from the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI). We will also pay attention to residential property prices and goods exports/imports for October.
