A new Davy report on ‘Wealth in Ireland’ shows household net wealth more than doubled since 2014. While we forecast a further doubling by 2035, long-term provision remains an issue for many households. Housing supply and price increases underpin structural momentum for wealth, but non-housing wealth generation has been subdued; the report recommends various avenues to provide a boost to this over the coming decade.
