Preliminary US data for May are likely to capture most of the attention this week, and April data could show an initial upward impact on consumer prices due to tariffs. In the UK and euro area, solid economic growth for Q1 is expected alongside a belated slowing of wage growth from well above 5% in recent years. In Ireland, payrolls and goods exports/imports for March are the main releases this week.
