A Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) statement this morning shows that it is still objecting to the EU/UK Brexit deal, mainly on ‘consent’ arrangements for Northern Ireland. With negotiations set to continue ahead of today’s EU summit and with Parliament set to sit on Saturday (October 19th), a Brexit on October 31st is looking like an increasingly ambitious target for Boris Johnson, with at least a technical extension seeming more likely.
