FBD is a leading provider of general insurance in Ireland to farmers, households and small businesses. With a Gross Written Premium (GWP) of â¬414m in FY 2023, FBD is the fifth-largest non-life insurer in Ireland. The business is predominantly rural-focussed with strong brand loyalty. Farmer insurance represents c.50% of GWP, with business and retail representing 31% and 19% respectively.
