Barryroe Offshore Energy’s (BEY) interim results re-state the contribution that the Barryroe field can make to energy security in Ireland, facilitate the energy transition period and make a significant economic contribution. The energy security review published recently by the government is entirely focused on clean energy with no discussion of fossil fuel energy. BEY has re-stated that it is still waiting for sign-off on the lease undertaking it needs.
