Howdens’ interim results provided a welcome opportunity to be reminded of how good a business it is. We regard the macro-driven pullback in the equity and valuation as a classic opportunity to “buy on weakness”. Our valuation matrix suggests a price target of 930p (previously: 1009p), well above the prevailing level.
