The Irish Residential Properties REIT (IRES REIT) is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust focused on building a portfolio of multi-unit residential real estate and strategically placed commercial property for the purposes of rental income located principally in major urban centres across Ireland. Listed in April 2014, IRES REIT raised €200m gross from its IPO and has since invested €307m in assembling a portfolio of 1,204 units across ten properties in Dublin. It is backed and managed by CAPREIT, a growth-oriented investment trust owning interests in 41,555 residential units and one of Canada's largest residential landlords.
