Symrise develops, produces and sells fragrances, flavours, cosmetic ingredients and functional ingredients. It is the third-largest player in the global flavour and fragrance sector with a market share of circa 12%, selling into industries such as food, beverage, healthcare, pet food, personal care and homecare. It sells over 30,000 products globally to more than 6,000 customers from around 10,000 raw materials, with an increasing emphasis on natural products. Symrise has two divisions: Flavour & Nutrition (c.59% sales, 60% EBITDA) and Scent & Care (c.41% sales, 40% EBITDA).
