Origin Enterprises is a leading agri-services business with operations in Ireland, the UK, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Brazil. The group's core focus is the provision of value-added services, technologies and inputs for the farm sector (predominantly arable farmers). It operates an integrated on-farm agronomy (product and advisory) model and a traditional business-to-business supply operation (fertilizer and feed). In 2018, it expanded its agri-services activities into Brazil with a 65% stake in Fortgreen, a B2B manufacturer and marketer of crop nutrition and specialty inputs. Origin's profit distribution by geography is broadly: Ireland and the UK 70%, Continental Europe 20% and Brazil 10%. Recent acquisitions have helped diversify profit contribution by season and region, and this is a core part of Origin's strategy going forward.
