Ibstock will be glad to see the back of 2025. Two profit warnings dashed hopes that earnings would recover, and expectations for this year were also significantly downgraded. Commentary suggests trading conditions will remain challenging in H1, which is no surprise. In such circumstances, the stock is likely to continue to struggle to make progress.
