The rumours make sense, Ocado Group (OCDO) has great tech that could translate Amazon’s (AMZN) e-commerce dominance into success in groceries – difficult to sell online as the inventory is perishable. Doordash (DASH) and Uber also make sense, as OCDO’s tech could level-up their instant grocery offerings; but we have seen enough cash-strapped companies, bought on the cheap out of administration in 2022/23, to remain sceptical.
