It is debatable whether it makes any sense to speculate on outcomes in situations like this, and we have been cautious on Purplebricks (PURP) for a while. But… the cash, the model, the brand have value and, with the right leadership, PURP could once again be ‘the market share taker’ in the staid UK estate agency competitive landscape. We think there are a number of potential buyers and therefore upgrade to ‘Outperform’.
