The appointment of Myles O’Grady as Group CEO and Executive Director has been well flagged in the media over recent months. O’Grady played an integral role in Bank of Ireland’s (BOI) current strategy and should therefore provide continuity as the next phase is further developed to incorporate the next number of years. We forecast that BOI will achieve sustainable earnings and returns in the coming years, with a revised distribution policy one of the final pieces of the jigsaw from here.
