Flutter Entertainment has announced that Jonathan Hill will transition from the role of Group CFO to a newly established Group COO position in 2023. He will be replaced as Group CFO by Paul Edgecliff-Johnson, the current Group CFO and Head of Strategy at IHG plc. Edgecliff-Johnson, who will join Flutter in H1 2023, brings a complementary skillset — as well as his experience as a FTSE 100 CFO for the past nine years, he is joining one consumer-facing leisure operator with global breadth and a strong stable of brands from another. Hill will remain on the Executive Committee in his new role (he will leave the Board of Directors), meaning the group will continue to benefit from the experience and knowledge he has amassed as a senior leader through a transformational period for the group.
