Company Profile
Green REIT plc became Ireland's first quoted real estate investment trust (REIT) in Q3 2013. Since its IPO, Green REIT has invested over €900m in Irish commercial real estate. This investment was executed ahead of plan and positions the company very well to benefit from the continued rental and value uplift. Most of Green REIT's portfolio by value is located in Dublin. Green REIT targets a total return of 10-15% per annum (pre-taxation) when fully invested. The company has no directly employed staff but is governed by an independent Board comprising two directors, a chairman and a representative of the investment manager. Green Property REIT Ventures Limited, an investment manager, provides investment management services to Green REIT in return for a fee. Green Property REIT Ventures Limited is run by Stephen Vernon and Pat Gunne, who between them have almost 60 years of relevant experience in real estate.
