UK consumer confidence falls to four-month low in November


This morning’s data releases on the UK will raise concerns regarding the prospects for consumer spending. The UK GfK survey showed consumer sentiment falling to its lowest level in four months. Appetite for major purchases fell to a three-year low, with expectations for economics prospects close to 2011-2012 levels. The Nationwide house price index rose by just 0.1% in November, with annual inflation at 2.5%.
