Irish asking price inflation on residential property has accelerated to 12.9%, flattered slightly by comparison with the first lockdown period when prices temporarily fell, but clearly indicating the lack of supply is leading to frothy price gains. We have revised up our forecast for Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) inflation to 8% in 2021.
