Avation’s financials are in recovery mode and the trendlines are positive, with cash collection and liquidity gradually improving. The forthcoming certainty on its eight available ATR aircraft, the claim against Virgin Australia and the restructuring process at Philippine Airlines should also underpin better sentiment. There is more work to be done on the capital structure for Avation to capitalise on the post-COVID opportunities, but some core strength is returning.
