Providence has announced the signing of a farm-out agreement for half of the 80% share it currently holds in the Barryroe field off the south coast of Ireland. The agreement includes detailed plans for an early production system and a commitment to provide the funds to complete the scheduled work programme. The deal looks sensible and is the most realistic route to realising the value in the project for shareholders.
