Lois is a founder of CDP, Founding Director of Climate Disclosure Standards Board, Technical Director at the International Integrated Reporting Council and Director at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development reporting programme. She joined the IFRS Foundation in February 2022 as a Special Advisor on ISSB. Previously a specialist on taxation, first at PwC and then at Zurich Insurance Group. Lois studied theology at the University of Birmingham, environmental policy at the Open University and holds an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice.
