When we think of Glanbia’s evolution since its last Capital Markets Day (CMD), it is clear that the organisation has made fundamental changes as to how it operates. It has enhanced its capability set (technology, people), driven scale into its branded business (transformation programme) and operates with a more simplified strategy. The business continues to address growth categories but in more focused fashion. 2023 will be a tricky year for all consumer facing entities – while we don’t know the depth of the challenges, we are confident that Glanbia is much better equipped to deal with these challenges than at any point in its recent past. The shares represent fundamental value.
