The latest data on residential property market transactions and new listings for sale on MyHome continue to suggest that activity is returning to normal. Asking prices may have bounced back from the -3% annual inflation rate recorded in Q2 2020, biased towards small numbers of vendors prepared to put their homes on the market during this uncertain period. So there is a clear upside risk to our forecast for a 5% fall in prices through 2020.
