Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) inflation rose to 1.4% in November, accelerating for the first time since early 2018, and it should pick up further in the coming months. So, our forecast for 2% RPPI inflation in 2020 now looks conservative. Meanwhile, this morning's Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) survey shows a marked Brexit-related rebound in UK housing market sentiment in December.
