Tony O’Reilly has stepped down from the position of CEO and also resigned from all Board positions in Providence Resources. This brings to an end more than 20 years of stewardship and championing of the Irish offshore sector. It is a milestone event for Providence, which now requires a new CEO to pursue the group’s Irish offshore assets – chief among which is the requirement to progress the appraisal of the Barryroe project in the Celtic Sea.
