DAVY VIEW
The 2019 Irish Budget contained several amendments to the taxation of income and capital gains in the real estate sector. The most significant of these included a second increase in the rate of stamp duty on commercial real estate to 7.5%. Policy continues to be extremely supportive of the residential sector.
