Irish consumer confidence rises again in June

The most striking feature of June’s Bank of Ireland Economic Pulse survey is another rise in consumer confidence — to its highest level since October — with business confidence flat on the month. Ahead of this week’s G20 meetings there are mixed signs of progress in US/China trade relations, with June’s preliminary PMI surveys for the euro area rising to a seven-month high.
