The transformation of Kingfisher continues with all the risks, opportunities, challenges and uncertainties that this brings. What is more certain in the near term is that underlying trading remains a struggle. The group's latest trading update and Innovation Day highlighted that both themes will continue, possibly for some time. It is still far from clear whether the group's strategy will ultimately succeed — we remain sceptical — and opinion is likely to remain divided.
