Adam is a member of Institutional Equities Sales team with special responsibility for Global Transportation, Logistic and Gaming names. Adam has been with Davy for 5 years initially as a member of the Graduate Programme and subsequently within Davy Capital Markets. He has worked on the Institutional Equities team for 3 years servicing mutual and hedge fund clients in the US, UK & Ireland, Spain and Italy. Prior to working in Davy Adam worked in Equity Sales for Global Reach Securities. Adam is a graduate of Dublin City University - BSc. Airgeadais, Ríomhaireacht agus Fiontraíocht (BSc. in Finance Computing & Enterprise through Irish) and University of Limerick – MSc. in Financial Services.
Damian joined the Institutional Equities Team in Davy in June 2013. Damian has more than 20 years' experience in the Financial Services Sector primarily in Dublin and London in the areas of Cash Equities and Structured Product Sales, Corporate Broking and Research. Before joining Davy he was a Managing Director in RBS Cash Equities having worked with ABN AMRO/Hoare Govett for many years. He holds a B.Sc. (Mgmt.) He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and is a Chartered Director (Institute of Directors). He was formerly a Director of the Irish Stock Exchange.
Harry joined the Institutional Equity Sales team in 2010 following completion of his undergraduate degree. His key focus is on institutional clients across London, European and North American markets. Along with presenting investment opportunities in Irish equities there is an ever-growing emphasis on Davy’s pan-European research coverage. Harry has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from University College Dublin (UCD).
Johannes Luik joined the Institutional Equity Sales team as a graduate in September 2013. He is working with clients in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in London and the United States. Johannes holds a MEconSc degree from NUI Galway in International Finance and a BComm (Hons) in Economics.
John joined the Institutional Equity Sales team in Davy as a generalist in 2011 having spent the previous three years with a local Irish broker, building an institutional client base there. John graduated from UCD with a BSc (Hons) degree in Maths & Statistics in 2006.
Kieran has worked on the Institutional Equity Sales team for 15 years. Kieran joined Davy from AIB Capital Markets, where he worked in a Credit analysis and Relationship Management role within International Corporate Banking. He generates and distributes Irish & European Equity ideas for a diverse International Institutional client base. He has also been involved in a large cross-section of IPOs and fund-raisings across the Irish and UK market. Kieran has a Bachelor of Business Studies (Finance) degree and an MSc. in Investment and Treasury from Dublin City University.
Mannie Larchet is a member of the Institutional Equity Sales team. Prior to joining equity sales, Mannie was a member of the Davy Research team focusing on the small and mid-cap names. She distributes Irish and European Research ideas to a UK and US institutional client base.
Niall joined Davy as part of the Graduate Recruitment Programme in 2006 after completing a BA in Economics at University College Dublin. He spent 4 years working in the Davy Private Clients Department before moving to Institutional Equity Sales in 2010. He is now based in Davy’s London office and covers accounts in North America, Scandinavia, London and Dublin.
Ronan started his career as an Associate with CitiGroup London (Graduate programme, 1995-1997), followed by a role as Associate Director within Bear Stearns, (London, 1997-2000) and moved to a local Irish broker as a director within hedge fund sales (2000-2004). Ronan joined the Davy Institutional Equity Sales team in 2004, and his client focus is Dublin, London and New York, with regard Pan European equity alpha generation. Ronan graduated from UCD in 1995 with an Honours Degree in Economics.
John joined Davy in 1987 as a money broker. In 1990 he moved to the bond desk and traded bonds on behalf of Davy after commissions were abolished in the early 1990’s. He moved to the Equity Desk in 2005 and now manages Davy’s equity exposure on the Institutional Equity Desk.
Stephen joined Davy in 1987 as a money broker. In 1997 he joined the Institutional Equity Trading desk. He makes markets and trades in Irish and UK equities. Stephen graduated from UCD with a degree in Economics and Politics.
Andy joined Davy in 1998. He worked as a trader within the private client department, establishing the centralised private client dealing desk and systems to support the introduction of the Xetra electronic order book in 2000. In 2003 Andy joined the Institutional Equity Trading Desk as a cash equities trader and market maker in Irish & UK equities.
Fran joined Davy in 1994 after spending 6 years working in the Irish Stock Exchange. He has worked on the Institutional Equity Trading Desk for 19 years having started out as the firm's trader on the stock exchange floor. In recent years Fran has also worked in a business development role for the trading team.
Ivan joined the Davy trading desk in 2007. He works on the market making desk and prior to that was also on the agency desk trading European Equities. Prior to working in Davy, he began his career on the AIB Graduate scheme and then moved into energy and FX trading for 6 years. Ivan has a degree in economics from UCC and a postgraduate diploma in business from University of Limerick.
Cathal joined Davy as a graduate in 2011 initially working in the Finance department and subsequently in Private Client Settlements. He joined the Institutional Equity Trading Desk as a Junior Trader in November 2013. Cathal is a graduate of National University of Ireland Galway (Bachelor of Corporate Law).
Kevin joined Davy from Goodbody Stockbrokers in October 2014 where he worked as a Senior Trader and Market Maker. He has over 10 years trading and market making experience in Irish and International equities for Institutional Investors. He also worked in a Business Development Role building relationships with Program and Cash Equity Trading desks at the Global Investment Banks.
Lionel joined Davy’s trading team in February 2014 from Prescient Investment Managers (formerly AIB IM) where he worked as an equity dealer. He has 12 years' buy-side trading experience in European & US equities having worked in Chicago and Dublin; as a proprietary futures trader with Geneva Trading, and as asst. equity portfolio manager with Como Asset Management. Lionel is a graduate of Dublin City University – B.Sc. (Hons) in Finance, Computing & Enterprise – as Gaeilge.
Aidan is a member of the Institutional Sales Trading team at Davy. Aidan has worked in Davy for the past 13 years. He began his career in Davy Private Clients and then moved to a sales role within Institutional Equities. He has been in a sales trading role for the last 8 years, specifically talking to a broad range of institutional and hedge fund clients in Ireland, London, and Continental Europe. Aidan graduated from UCC with a degree in Commerce and a Higher Diploma in Education.
Dara is a member of the Institutional Sales Trading team at Davy. Dara has almost 20 years’ experience in financial markets. Dara joined Davy in 1994 and worked on Ireland’s premier money broking desk until 2003. In 2003 he joined the equity desk and has worked there since on the sales trading desk servicing clients in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US. Dara has a BA (Hons) in Economics and Italian from University College Dublin.
Geoff is a member of the Institutional Sales Trading team. Geoff has been with Davy for 8 years, initially as a member of the private client Dealing Desk and subsequently a trader within Davy Private Clients. He has worked on the Institutional Equities team for 6 years servicing mutual and hedge fund clients in the US, UK and Europe. Geoff is a graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology (BSc Management).
Turlough is a member of the Institutional Sales Trading team at Davy. Turlough has worked in Davy since 1996. He began his career in Davy on the Fixed Income desk and subsequently moved to the Institutional desk where he has spent the last 13 years in a sales trading role. Turlough talks to a broad range of hedge funds and Institutional clients in Ireland, UK, US, Canada and Europe. Prior to working in Davy Turlough spent five years with Banque Nationale de Paris as a member of the Institutional corporate desk servicing Irish and European clients.
