Davy is the market leader in the origination, distribution and trading of Irish equities with an additional expertise in the European building materials, airline and gaming sectors. Our equity sales and trading function provides analysis and execution for domestic and overseas institutional investors, including some of the largest global fund managers, hedge funds, sovereign entities and money managers.
Each day, we handle approximately one-half of all trading in Irish equities.
Our Corporate Finance business act as primary adviser to the majority of listed and unlisted Irish companies. Since 2000, we have been responsible for 70% of funds raised on the Irish Stock Exchange.
Our equity sales team has taken the lead in attracting overseas investors to the Irish equity market. This has been born out of our focus on Irish financial products, the strength and depth of our distribution network, our unrivalled research expertise and our strong relationship with the corporate sector (Davy acts as primary adviser to more than 75% of listed Irish companies).
Our equity research team is the largest and most authoritative in Ireland, with 21 analysts covering 11 sectors. In addition to the Irish market, we provide research coverage for the European building materials, airline and gaming sectors.
