Davy's Debt & Specialist Finance team, the largest in Ireland, acts for both borrowers and investors in the global debt markets.
We pioneered the marketing of Irish government securities to overseas investors. We remain very active in Irish government securities, but our business now spans the entire global debt spectrum. We are active traders in all sovereign bonds and global credits, and are primary dealers of Irish government bonds.
We have been to the fore in providing debt finance and capital to the Irish banking sector and funding for investment and non-investment grade Irish corporates. Through our global client base, we raise substantial capital for unlisted or unrated entities. We also actively trade the debt of global issuers in the secondary market.
In the Finance Stockbroking Survey 2006, we received the ‘Best overall bond/fixed income research’ and ‘Best research economist - bonds market’ awards.
